At The Cairn, we believe that everything we do should serve to add value to the lives of others, and that includes our coffee. We are proud to offer direct-trade certified, single-origin coffees from around the world in a manner that is fair and respectful of those coffee farmers who, historically, have been abused and taken advantage of in the global market. Through Counter Culture Coffee, our coffee program provides farmers with fair & sustainable prices, direct communication and relationships, and complete transparency in business. The Cairn will feature only the freshest and best coffees – made exclusively from shade-grown arabica beans – from the world’s finest growing locations like Sumatra, Ethiopia, Guatemala, and Kenya. To learn more about these coffees and the direct trade relationships, visit Counter Culture’s website.
On a local level, The Cairn also seeks to build and promote local businesses, which is why we will also be partnering with School Spirit Coffee. Located just a few blocks North of The Cairn on Main Street in Winchester, School Spirit will roast our featured “Flavored Coffee of the Day.”
The Cairn is also proud to sell Zoe Coffee, a smooth blend of Arabica beans from Latin America and East Africa. 100% organic and fair-trade, Zoe Coffee takes “coffee with a cause” one step further: all proceeds from the sales of Zoe Coffee go towards the global fight against human trafficking.
