Our Impact

As a non-profit organization, the revenue brought in through our coffee house is turned around to support our community teen center. These funds allow us staff the center, offer programs & services, purchase equipment, and much more…without being a financial burden to our community.

But that’s not all: just as we encourage people in our community to join in our mission and to be a part of something greater than themselves, The Cairn constantly seeks to be a part of something bigger than just ourselves. We are a non-profit organization, which means that all proceeds from The Cairn are turned right back around to meet needs within our community and around the world. We believe that giving back and empowering others is a huge part of drinking deep and dreaming big.

Here is our commitment to make an impact in the lives of others outside of our own organization:

  • We commit to supporting the local 4Freedom program in the fight against modern slavery. To this end, the 4th day of every month will be set aside at The Cairn to raise awareness and financial support for the fight against human trafficking. Money from all food and beverage sales on these days will be donated to the A21 Campaign. More information about this partnership is available on our 4Freedom page.
  • We commit to help empower underprivileged and oppressed peoples around the world to “dream big” through our direct trade coffee standards, and by supporting the sale of fair-trade merchandise as these items are available.
  • We commit to supporting local non-profits, missions, and special events by providing a platform to share their stories, as the opportunities to do so are available.
